The details are somewhat sketchy, but this 'multidisciplinary art' event looks interesting, and sometimes it's nice to get a surprise. According to the very small amount of information available to the public, the aim here is to question "the 'FREAK' concept in a shocking and humorous way with absurd and the ironic connotations by means of live music, site-specific installation and dance performance." Quite what the 'FREAK concept' is we cannot say, but the team involved - including musician Barış Ertürk and artist/designer Dilara Akay - suggest that it should be a very cool, and potentially very unusual, way to spend an evening. All this is going on under the aegis of Hayaka Artı, an arts platform which supports its roster of artists as well as putting on exhibitions and events like this. NAYAH İstiklal Caddesi, Kurabiye Sokak, No : 23 Taksim / Beyoğlu / İstanbul. 23 March. Call (+90) 212-2929956 for more details.
