Eveline Sint Nicolaas

Eveline Sint Nicolaas studied social-economic history and cultural studies at the University of Amsterdam. She worked initially for the Zuiderzeemuseum (South Sea Museum), and started working at the Rijksmuseum in 1998. She now works as conservator in the Dutch History department and is actively involved in arranging exhibitions of various specialized collections in the museum. She specializes in weapons, Surinam, Brazil and the collection “Turkish Paintings” belonging to Ambassador Cornelis Calkoen. (18th century) which is exhibited in the new Rijksmuseum.
