- What’s On
One of the biggest events on Istanbul’s cultural calendar. The theme of this year’s classical music festival is ‘The Song of Nature’.
Hundreds of musicians will perform in 26 concerts at various venues, including the Aya Irini, Boğaziçi University’s Albert Long Hall, Cumhuriyet Park in Maçka, the Istanbul Toy Museum in Göztepe, the Iş Sanat Concert Hall, Sakıp Sabancı Museum’s garden, the Süreyya Opera House and the newly-opened Zorlu Performing Arts Center in Beşiktaş.
As in previous years, the Festival will host various Turkey and world premieres, as well as featuring a number of special projects which aim to discover and encourage young musicians throughout the country.
