- What’s On
A Corner In The World Festival returns for its third edition with an ambitious programme and in a new venue. Bomontiada ALT is curated throughout the year by the A Corner In The World team, and they take full advantage of their space in this year’s festival.
With a focus on works by female and queer artists, the festival’s theme this year is Earth is Flat?. The programme is a mix of contemporary dance, theater, performance art, visual arts and music by artists hailing from Turkey, Iran, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria and Kosovo. The works are a combination of international works, new commissions, latest editions of ongoing programmes.
In conjunction with the festival, the exhibition Flaneause: I wandered around as I pleased will open at bomontiada ALT on May 2, followed by the performance A Reason To Talk by Iranian artist Sachli Gholamalizad.
