- What’s On
Peter and Renate Nahum, owners of the Leicester Galleries in Ryder Street for many years, have again most generously offered to take a small party of Friends round their important art collection now installed in their newly renovated late seventeenth century house in Bloomsbury Square. Peter Nahum is a specialist on 19th and 20th century art; he has been a regular expert on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow. The collection of paintings, drawings and sculpture reflects its owners’ expertise but actually ranges from the prehistoric to 2015.
The visit will start with a cup of tea and last approximately an hour and a half. All five floors of the house can be reached by lift. Numbers are limited on a first come first served basis. As a contribution towards the Friends’ 2015 conservation project undertaken by Trevor Proudfoot in the Hadrianic Baths at Aphrodisias, a suggested donation of £25 per person would be much appreciated.
