To coincide with the Sagalassos show at Yapı Kredi Kültür Sanat (YKKSY) in Galatasaray, the Belgian archaeologist Prof Jeroen Poblome, who took over from Prof Dr Marc Wealkens as head of the Sagalassos excavations (see The Man who Rescued Hadrian, Cornucopia 48), discusses the strategic political and cultural location of one of Anatolia’s best preserved classical cities in the Yapı Kredi’s elegant Loca auditorium.
