Ardan Özmenoğlu’s first solo exhibition in Düsseldorf, curated by Katerina Valdivia Bruch, looks back on nine years of work by the Berlin-based Turkish artist. The title of the show and the works themselves take their titles from the first words she learnt on arriving in the country. Alles gut (All Is Good), Alles schön (All Is Beautiful), and Alles wunderbar (All Is Wonderful). Her work is deliberately playful and employs paper, glass and neon light tubes creating three-dimensional sculptural works that comment on the fragility of nature and human vulnerability.
