Bountiful Empire: Friday 8 March at 6pm

Priscilla Mary Işın will give a talk based on her book Bountiful Empire: A History of Ottoman Cuisine, which examines the culinary culture of the Ottoman Empire as it evolved over many centuries.

Plus a an exhibition by 19 photographers from Turkey with Turkish, Armenian, Greek and Jewish backgrounds. The exhibition honours the memory of the late internationally renowned photographer Ara Güler. The exhibition runs until 22 March.

The event is curated by artist Terry Katalan and organized by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü – London in collaboration with the Turkish Embassy in London, Turkish Airlines and Ara Güler Museum.
