Bringing together elements of sound, interactive installation and virtual reality, the Turkish artist Selçuk Artut uses the four-room structure of Galeri Zilberman’s second floor exhibition space as a tool. Combining multiple media and methods of production, the artist at times includes the audience in his work and at times simply confronts them with a reflected image of themselves in order to explore the boundaries of a viewer’s experience of art. Artut shows that disorientation can be used as a method of communication and interrogates the functionality of art objects.
