She endevours to ‘keep the originality of the melodies and the lyrics in order to crete a link between monotonous oriental classic music and contemporary world music’. Tırpan is a renowned classical composer-pianist who studied at the Vienna Conservatory, and spends his time between Turkey and Vienna. Özer Arkun is considered to be one of the best cellists in Turkey, and Göksel Baktagir is a kanun (plucked zither) player who has made a significant contribution to the New Age and jazz scene in the country.
