The featured films, which were selected with the help of Turkish film critic Atilla Dorsay, are from various eras and geographies, yet each one helped shape the history of cinema. Three films each by Volker Schlöndorff and Wim Wenders will be screened, as will critically acclaimed works such as The Pianist by Roman Polanski, Good Bye Lenin! by Wolfgang Becker and Valkyrie: The Plot to Kill Hitler by Bryan Singer. The cinema program will end with a screening of Duvara Karşı by Fatih Akın.

All films will be screened in their original languages with Turkish subtitles. Click here for the full programme.
