Resolutely so! And inevitably the global pandemic made it much MUCH worse, ecologically, socially, politically, you name it. A show befitting Yapı Kredi Sanat’s location – epicentre of Istanbul protest. Work includes the Hungarian photographer István Zsiros’s image of refugees from the war in Syria finding a moment of early morning hope. The title of the show comes from Hale Tenger’s installation. The show is supported by the French Cultural Centre, the Goethe İnstitute Istanbul and the Tarabya Cultural Academy. Didem Yazıcı and Peter Sit are the curators, backed up by Burcu Çimen.
