A RESPONSE TO THE GROUNDS
OF A BORDERS ESTATE

Charles Fletcher is a Scottish writer, artist and historian.

‘I am an artist and academic researcher. My artistic practice is all about understanding places. Everywhere has a name, a story, a significance, integral to the sense of place. I want my artworks to capture the essence of a particular place, to be of that place and nowhere else. I learn and grow as an artist by working in this way and I hope that those encountering my work will do likewise.’

ARTIST’S RECEPTION
Friday 12 August, from 6pm
All welcome. Come along for a glass of prosecco and to meet the artist.
