A four-week seminar by musicologist Rana Gediz Iren. She studied at Cambridge University and at Istanbul Technical University Centre for Advanced Studies in Music and she teaches music, culture and arts in Boğaziçi University, at the Western Languages and Literatures department of the Arts and Sciences Faculty. In her research, Gediz İren traces the influence of the Ottoman Empire on Italian vocal compositions in the modern period.
This seminar will be in Turkish and will take place on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of November.
