Nomads Tent presents a celebration of Ottoman culture which includes their 5th Annual Symposium; Travellers and Treasures of the Ottoman World, on Saturday 6 May.

The festival also includes Balkan folk and Klezmer performances, an evening of Ottoman Court music with Emre Aracı, the poetry and stories of Rumi, plus a glimpse into the stores of the National Museum of Scotland.
Nomads Tent presents a lavish selling exhibition of Turkish Iznik pottery, kilims and rugs for a whole month, from April 28 to May 28th.
And at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh there will be a major seminar on the Botanical Legacy of the Ottomans, on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 of May.
