Sourced from several European private collections, highlights include beautiful ceramic wares, refined Indian miniature paintings, as well as Arab, Persian and Turkish manuscripts, including three highly important and early works on optics, astronomy and mathematics, reflecting the scholarly ‘golden age’ of medieval Arab advancement.
