The upcoming Turkish elections on 14 May will determine the country’s future direction economically, politically, and strategically. The discrepancy between society and state was highlighted during the 6 February earthquake. Columbia Global Centers will host a lecture on 18 April featuring Soli Özel, who will discuss Turkey’s current political landscape and evaluate possible election outcomes. The lecture will be moderated by Türküler Işıksel, an Associate Professor of Political Science at Columbia University.
