The Istanbul Jazz Festival, organised by IKSV, returns with more than 50 concerts featuring 250 performers in 27 venues. The programme covers a wide range of jazz, funk and blues. A highlight is a show by the Australian singer, lyricist, composer, script writer, poet and actor Nick Cave with his band The Bad Seeds, on July 10 at Küçük Çiftlik Park.

Masters of contemporary jazz grace Istanbul’s stages, including the Canadian group BADBADNOTGOOD on Saturday, July 7 at Küçük Çiftlik Park and Robert Glasper’s new supergroup R+R=Now, featuring Terrace Martin and Christian Scott, on July 6 at UNIQ Open Air Stage. We are looking forward to Melody Gardot’s xpressive vocals on June 27 at UNIQ Open Air Stage and Caro Emerald’s golden age jazz and swing on July 12 at Zorlu PSM Main Theatre.

The popular marathon music evening Night Out returns for its 4th edition, lighting up nine venues on the Asian side of the city with rotating concerts. The free annual open-air event Jazz in the Parks will branch out from its usual spot in Fenerbahçe Park and also take place at Beylikdüzü Yaşam Vadisi Parkı on the European side of the city.
