Kirkor Sahakoğlu

March 6, 2015 – March 29, 2015

A selection of 39 paintings and one video work by the Istanbul-born artist Kirkor Sahakoğlu.

Sahakoğlu’s works are manifestations of a surprising rush of emotions. Intense, free brushstrokes and lots of blacks and reds produce paintings that call to mind soot-black reticence and a bleeding void. Alongside the paintings, the video presents a disquieting reality and, like the paintings, poses questions about life and death.

The works are for sale. The artist will be present on most days at the exhibition so those interested in pieces can enquire directly with him.
