A collective exhibition by four very different Turkish women artists, staged by the Nişantaşı-based gallery at London’s School of European Economics. The show is named after the most distant constellation visible to the naked eye.
The artworks shown here are a work by the mixed-media artist Nihan Yardımcı Çetinkaya from her Renaissance’s Secret Memory series (the girl with the pearl earring eyes); the sculpture of a head by Nilay Özenbay; a magnificent red car by the painter Renan Ertosun – celebrating speed; and Senur Bicer’s Sum-e, painted in ink on paper and characterisitic of her gentle approach to traditional Eastern art.
