The second edition of Artweeks @Akaretler starts on March 5, 2019 in venues all along Akaretler Street in Beşiktaş. Artweeks @Akaretler aims to bring together diverse artwork and collections in a dynamic setting. Meant to be delightful rather than exhausting, visitors are free to wander, explore, and buy art, which is presented by galleries and individual artists. There is no set schedule or plan; rather, visitors are encouraged to explore the art (held across 6 buildings, which are decorated to mark that they are part of the program) and socialize in the abundant cafes in the area.
