Fatma Sağ Tunçalp

April 24, 2014 – May 25, 2014

This exhibition of the Turkish artist Fatma Sağ Tunçalp is mainly composed of works which merge metals and ceramics, and in turn question the concept of freedom of man and the body.

Using materials such as chicken wire, screws, nails, barbed wire and wheels, Tunçalp contrasts cold metal and life-like clay. The artist explores the chaos of the images and sounds which govern the individual who has fallen from nature by presenting various prejudices, habits, models and fears.
