Vassilis Colonas finished his graduate studies in Architecture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and postgraduate studies in Paris in the fields of Art History, Museology and Conservation of Historical Monuments. From 2002 till 2022 professor at the Department of Architecture of the University of Thessaly. From December 2022, professor Emeritus of the same department.
