Mixer, Kemankeş Karamustafa Paşa Mahallesi, Mumhane Caddesi No. 50, Beyoğlu, Istanbul

Curated by Mehmet Kahraman, this group exhibition focuses on the dilemmas we encounter whether about our own identity, or wider events and the context in which they are placed. By experiencing the dilemmas as depicted by the exhibiting artists, viewers are invited to face their own dilemmas.

The exhibition features Kerem Ağralı’s surreal paintings; Gülşah Bayraktar’s pictorial stories of different lives; Ozan Türkkan’s interactive video installation; Erdal İnci’s GIF-inspired video in which he duplicates himself in a space and time continuum; Çınar Eslek’s photographs visualising flows of change; Tuba Yalçınkaya’s illustrations showing psychological and emotional changes of an individual making decisions; Saniye Dönmez’s collage redefining the persona in an unfamiliar environment; and Burçak Konukman’s performance on self-questioning.
