- What’s On
Building on the success of last year’s holiday bazaar, Circuit is again hosting their version of a Christmas Market, featuring art works and crafts made by Istanbul-based creatives. The handmade goods on offer range from illustrations and notebooks to textiles and soaps. Small Projects Istanbul, a grass roots organisation helping Syrian refugees rebuild their lives in Istanbul, will also be on hand, selling handicrafts made by members of their women’s collective. To learn more about the artisans, follow the Facebook event page.
In addition to supporting local artists, visitors can celebrate the winter holiday season with festive cookies, mulled wine, apple cider and holiday tunes. On Friday evening, the Istanbul A Cappella Choir will give a performance – the group was a massive hit at last year’s bazaar.
As with every event at their space, Circuit asks visitors not to bring any single use packaging into the space (disposable coffee cups, plastic water bottles, plastic bags, throw away food containers, etc).
