The artist Pınar Tınç draws on her childhood memories of Bozcaada for this solo exhibition. ‘I was inspired by the purple-blue coloured spring branches of Bozcaada, the anemone fragrant hills and the spring-inspired colours,’ Tınç says, and her ink paintings transcend realism to communicate those ephemeral feelings. Her contemporary work is notable for its detailed textures, lines and visual rhythms.
