Which he wasn’t, of course, though recent events in Istanbul are hardly less surreal than anything the Surrealists could dream up. Here we have a broadly representative show of sixty works from the Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul de Vence, a museum opened by André Malraux in 1964, and the Mourlot Collection – Mourlot was the printshop that made the highly collectible lithographic posters, working closely Miró, Picasso, Matisse and others.
