Turkish artist Refik Anadol has designed the inaugural exhibition of digital art presenter Artechouse in New York. His display, Machine Hallucinations, is his first large-scale installation in New York City. This mixed reality experiment uses machine learning algorithms on a dataset of over 300 million images to reveal the hidden connections between these moments in architectural history.
Artechouse’s space, located in Chelsea Market’s historic boiler room, is a massive underground space beneath the market’s main concourse. It will continue to function as a experimental space for new technologies and exhibitions.
