In this lecture, which is organised as part of the Scent and the City exhibition, Aybala Yentürk and Nejat Yentürk will discuss the use of perfumes in daily Ottoman life. Aybala and Nejat, who are collectors and researchers, will explore how the use of pleasing scents was not limited to the body and how these scents were brought to the Ottomans by the Arabs.
