Engravings and Ceramics from the House of his Birth

This exhibition features 64 artworks, including 56 engravings and eight ceramics, that have been selected from the Museo Casa Natal Collection, namely the house in which Picasso was born in Málaga, Spain. As well as that, the artist’s childhood belongings are also displayed, give a rare glimpse into Picasso’s upbringing and personal life.

The exhibition aims to present audiences with examples of the artist’s stylistic transitions. The engravings extend from realistic depictions of certain subjects to their Cubist interpretations, while the accompanying ceramics demonstrate Picasso’s ability to make his mark on a number of visual formats and using various materials.
