The global film industry still remains dominated by men, but in many countries women are increasingly assuming their rights. For our webinar Pioneering women in film we have invited academics and women engaged in the film industry to give an historical overview from both Turkey and Sweden and to discuss the gains which have been made and the challenges still ahead.
For this event the Swedish Research Insitute has specially produced a Turkish edition of the Pioneering women in film timeline originally developed by the Swedish Institute. Both timelines will be made available to the audience during the event.
