Sapor Istanbul is hosting its first annual food symposium, with its inaugural topic being Istanbul cuisine. The subjects will cover Istanbul’s multicultural food heritage, Istanbul cuisine during exchange period, the Bosphorus and fishing, the stories of the food makers, the tradesmen of Istanbul and more.
There will be authors, professors and specialists, including organiser Tuba Şatana, Andrew Dalby, Suraiya Faroqhi and Priscilla Mary Işın. The symposium will be on 7–8 December and will be held at Phanar Greek High School in Balat Istanbul.
