Skylight is a site-specific virtual light exhibition that brings together virtual reality and installation mediums. Özge Topçu experiments with tesseract, a form of four-dimensional cube analogy in modern geometry in the Kılıç Ali Paşa Hamam (Istanbul). Topçu uses star motifs used in ancient eastern architecture and decoration. A four-dimensional cube is shown through stereographic projections, producing inter-dimensional transitions and ‘realization of the divine.’ The installation interacts with space under Kılıç Ali Hamam’s spectacular dome by Mimar Sinan.
