ARTER, Irmak Caddesi No: 13 Dolapdere, Beyoğlu

Drawing is not dead. It’s just taking on new forms. Curated by Barbara Heinrich, ARTER’s summer group exhibition will examine the stylistic vocabulary of contemporary drawing and present works by artists who explore the relationship between drawing and space. Most importantly, the show will highlight the working methods and approaches to drawing and how techniques of drawing are being applied to new visual art forms such as video, installation and sculpture.

A wide range of important Turkish and European artists are exhibited, including: Peter Anders, Sandra Boeschenstein, Pip Culbert, İnci Eviner, Monika Grzymala, Nic Hess, Gözde İlkin, the late Harry Kramer, Pauline Kraneis, Hans Peter Kuhn, Zilla Leutenegger, Pia Linz, Christiane Löhr, Ulrike Mohr, Jong Oh, Nadja Schöllhammer and Heike Weber. The works are not for sale.
