- What’s On
A blend of classical and jazz music will be the flavour of the performance by the Deutsche Philharmonie Merck, led by conductor, pianist, composer, and arranger Wolfgang Heinzel. They will be joined by the Opera Swing Quartet and Turkish pianist Kerem Görsev.
Teatime at the Savoy will be a performance of the orchestra’s latest classic jazz project, for which a CD of the same name also exists.
Deutsche Philharmonie Merck was established in 1966, and has since become a competent and internationally-recognised independent orchestra. Kerem Görsev is an accomplished artist who has recorded his latest album To Bill Evans in March 2013 with Prague’s Philharmonic Orchestra.
