The work of Lin May Saeed, the German-Iraqi artist and activist who passed away in 2023, is at the heart of this hugely ambitious exhibtion, which explores the evolving relationship between humans and animals throughout history – from coexistence to systems of domination.Lin May Saeed was known for her satirical yet poignant depictions of human violence against animals. It is shown alongside contributions by artists from Turkey and elsewhere. The show also features an archival project centred on the stray dogs of Istanbul.
