- What’s On
A solo exhibition of the young artist Monica Mazzone, the first exhibition by an Italian artist at the gallery.
The show is a study into being able to visually perceive and express the obsession for perfection. Mazzone applies mathematical rules to determine each point both in the artworks themselves and in their arrangement over the gallery space. The geometry is proposed as a guiding principle of the creative act that accompanies the artist’s necessity to think in colours. She uses purple and green most commonly to represent the perfect dualities – yin and yang, masculine and feminine. The works, made from a number of different materials, have a sense of playfulness in them.
Prices range from €1,600 to €6,500.
