This group show, curated by Ceren and Irmak Arkman, is the second in a series of exhibitions investigating the relationship between nature and digital art. The exhibition is running parallel to the Istanbul Biennial. The viewer is introduced to works by a wide range of artists, from Evan Roth (an American artist who works hacking philosophy into his art) to Félix Luque & Iñigo Bilbao, whose recent projects include ‘Junkyard’ (2019), in which they put archaeology into car wrecks, and ‘Road to Nowhere’ (2021) – silkscreens of digitised images of dead forests, beaches and rocks at the MIMA (Millennium Iconoclast Museum of Art Museum) in Brussels.
Also featured: François Quévillon, Kevin Cooley, Persijn Broersen & Margit Lukács, Sabrina Ratté and Volkan Kızıltunç.
