Institut Français de Turquie kicks off the season with an exhibition of the French travel photographer Ferrante Ferranti’s works across its venues in Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara. Ferranti begun traveling across the Mediterranean in 1980, at the age of 20. His first destination was Sicily and Greece. In 1981, he decides to become a photographer during his visit to Egypt and decides to visit Turkey. He is fascinated by the Dardanelles, Golden Horn, Pamukkale and Byzantium. The exhibition ‘Voyage’ offers the viewer the story of these fascinating travels.
