- What’s On
At the Cornucopia wine tasting in July, Kevin Gould notes: ‘All wines from this boutique winery are made from organic grapes and each bottle is numbered. This is bottle 7242 of 9065; the label is by the artist Fikret Mualla. It’s a spicy and well-made wine that will age for a few years yet, and benefits from decanting. Very expressive of its land and charmingly clear flavours: this is legible, literate and grammatically absolutely correct.’ (See Turkey's Wine Renaissance, Cornucopia 56).
Cabernet Sauvignon (34%), Shiraz (29%), Merlot (23%) and Cabernet Franc (14%), (14,8% Vol.).
Made with grapes from winery's own Moralılar Köyü vineyard, outside Akhisar (Aegean region).
The Winehouse, Warwick, is offering readers in the UK six-bottle cases of this wine at £18 a bottle, down from £20.
