These unique, hand shaped raku bowls have been created exclusively for Cornucopia by the internationally renowned ceramic artist Serap Yurdaer Erboy.

Raku is a traditional type of Japanese pottery and a unique form of pottery making.  Traditional techniques have been developed by contemporary potters, such as Serap Yurdaer ceramics and modified to the western version of raku techniques, although they are similar in many ways. Raku fired ware is fragile, porous, and generally unsuitable for functional use. Raku ware should be treated as decorative. Using for food should be limited to dry food.

Approx. size (diameter):  large bowl - 17cm / medium bowl - 13cm / small bowl - 9cm
Approx height of each bowl - 4cm
