Bonhams’ spring Islamic and Indian Art auction will be held on 29 March 2022.

Particularly eye-catching is a set of four Diyarbakir pottery tiles, estimated at £8,000 – 12,000 and a rare Ottoman silver-damascened steel leg defence (greave), also estimated at £8,000 – 12,000.

There’s a delicate Armenian turquoise-set enamelled gilt-silver filigree incense burner included in the sale, as well as a 16th-century Ottoman silver bowl and an Ottoman jade talismanic pendant from the 17th or 18th century.
