Burak Dak’s first solo exhibition at x-ist is open to the public from October 13th - November 12th, 2022. Dak’s work is described as within a framework of a grotesque narrative, Down Below brings into question two characteristics of being human, empathy and curiosity. This metaphorical work questions two basic characteristics of being human, empathy and curiosity and the pressures over the centuries that have tried to destroy them in the name of order.
