You can catch the Indefatigable Fazil Say in France, Austria or Estonia in July.
First stop Cannes (July 12), where the Ankara-born maestro plays Bach, Haydn and his own compositions at the Festival de Musique Notre-Dame-de-Vie, Mougins (tickets).
On then to the Tiroler Festspiele in Erl, Austria (July 13) (tickets), where he plays Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 3 in C minor with the Camerata Salzburg.
Same again in Estonia, at the Pärnu Concert Hall (July 21), up the coast from Riga, for the final, alas sold-out concert in the Pärnu Music Festival, playing the same concerto with the Estonian Festival Orchestra.
Back in France, to play at the Le Corum–Opera Berlioz concert hall in Montpelier (July 25): Bach, Haydn, Beethoven’s Sonata for Piano No 17, and to finish off an «À la carte» selection of Say ballads / jazz fantasies (tickets).
