Susan Hefuna: Landscapes

A new group of works created in 2021, inspired by light, sun and fog in the Swiss Alps. Hefuna uses cut-out paper, layers, stitches and Egyptian ink, creating translucent depth. The opening of LANDSCAPES coincided with London’s Frieze Week. Hefuna’s well known signature cityscape and buildings drawing series can be found in permanent collections of Tate Modern, the British Museum, Guggenheim NY, Centre Pompidou and the Sharjah Art Foundation.
