Kevin Gould in his article Turkey’s Wine Renaissance in Cornucopia 56 writes: 'Dotted around Chamlija’s vineyards are dolmens in which Thracians were buried with their gold. This wine is Mustafa Çamlıca and Selin Özdemir’s homage to their ancestors. “Gold is immortal,” explains Mustafa. “It’s the one metal that never oxidises.” Neither does this wine, which is only made in exceptional years. It’s an Haut Brion Merlot-dominated blend with Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc. Like the rarest berry juice on the nose, opening to something symphonic in the mouth. It puts you in touch with your (best) self. Forget food, forget the outside world, sip slowly, let it develop and submit to Thracian Gold.’
