Anatolian kilims are a tangible record of Turkey’s nomadic past, and a stunning form of abstract art in their own right. Drawing from the museum’s Murad Megalli collection, this exhibition displays 18th and 19th century kilims that will be seen for the first time.
The exhibition is supported by the Megalli Family Endowment, the Coby Foundation, Ltd., Jeremy and Hannelore Grantham and the Markarian Foundation.
