It is a relief that Turkey is still capable of producing musicians like Çağrı Sertel, a pianist and composer specialising in modern jazz. He learnt his art from Tuna Ötenel and Ali Perret, two of Turkey’s most distinguished jazz pianists and pedagogues. I continue to admire his pianism, inventiveness as a composer, both outstanding, and his impeccable taste. This is a Türk Telekom Prime Coffee Concert not to be missed. JSD
