POSTPONED Istanbul’s most prominent and important film festival, first established in 1982, will take place this year from April 10th to the 21st. The city is transformed with movie-goers queuing up on both sides of the Bosphorus. There will be many events, films, workshops and lectures that still are to be announced besides the usual Meetings on the Bridge, a German -Turkish co-production development fund, Festival Awards, Honorary Awards, and Lifetime Achievement Awards. IKSV also has a special Tulip Card Membership Program for enthusiasts. This year a series of color films by Alfred Hitchcock will also be on the big screen.
