MIMC is delighted to welcome Cinecaravan to their September meeting where they will share a selection of their recent work.

Cinecaravan / Mozikaraván is a travelling cinema that presents screenings and gives workshops in socially and geographically remote communities across Europe. It is an artist-led and non-profit initiative that concentrates on short documentary cinema as a way of stimulating dialogue and exchange. The project is led by documentary filmmakers, and their presence alongside their films is key to the success of the project – closing the gap between author and audience and encouraging audiences to tell their own stories. These short films give glimpses in to new worlds and share different perspectives on familiar worlds. For this special screening we will be joined by filmmakers from Japan, Brazil, Hungary and the UK.
